I couldn’t spend too much time creating a blog without something for my Derrida loving, Foucault spouting fellow travellers. Pat Robinson, the American televangelist, would rail against “Socialist Canukistan.” While Christian Americans will be raptured up to Jesus, we northern commies would suffer the torments of Revelation. Glen Beck expounded on his Fox news show “I’m going to tell you something that will shock you. Those Canadians picked a RED Maple leaf for their flag. Oh My! Oh My!” Just to demonstrate how far to the left are Canuks Lewis H. Lapham’s son married the daughter of the former Conservative Prime Minister, Brian Mulroney. What more can I say?
